Greetings! My name is Robert D Flach. I have been preparing individual and business tax returns for people in all walks of life, from professional football players and actors to doctors and architects to secretaries and clerks since February of 1972.I am the author of all the content on this website, as well as all the content of THE WANDERING TAX PRO weblog and the NJ TAX PRACTICE BLOG for NJ tax pros, and various reports, booklets, newsletters, articles and columns on federal and state tax planning and preparation.I have also written articles and columns for the NATP quarterly TAX PRO JOURNAL, NJ-NATP chapter newsletter, the TAX ALMANAC website, and various blogs. As a tax professional and writer and lecturer on tax planning and preparation I must keep up-to-date on all the latest changes in the tax laws.
I am a member of the National Association of Tax Professionals and take full advantage of the Association's local and national continuing education programs and have access to its research departments.
I was born and raised and, with the exception of brief periods of residence in New Rochelle NY and Summit, Millburn, Stirling and Warren NJ, have lived most of my life in the heights section of Jersey City, New Jersey.
After the "tax season" is over, I enjoy travel via all methods (bus, train, ship and plane) and going to the theatre (local, regional, off-Broadway and Broadway).
I am available to write general and specialized tax planning and preparation advice, information, and Q+A columns and articles for online and print newsletters, magazines and websites.
